Videography

Equipment

The challenges of low light event videography require a combination of a stabilized sensor camera body, and/or stabilized lens, camera light, perform well at high ISO.

Camera Body

Preference given to latest generation Full Frame, or pro level APS-C camera bodies. Mirrorless cameras should use a phase detect autofocus system.

Lenses

A wide aperture lens is critical to deliver enough light to the autofocus system. Your lens should be 16mm-28mm wide (Full Frame equivalent) with at least an f2.8 wide aperture. For Full Frame a 20mm, 24mm, or 28mm prime lens in the f1.4 - f2.0 range is ideal, or a 16-35mm f2.8 (f4 ok on latest generation FF bodies). For APS-C Bodies, a f1.4 - f2.0 prime in the 14-28mm range is ideal.

Stabilization

You must have either stabilized sensor camera body, a stabilized lens or be using a gimble.

Lighting

You should have a camera-mounted led light. Failure to use a light may reduce your total pay.

Files

Have the ability to capture Full HD 1920x1080 or greater 16x9 Aspect Ratio files. Files must be uploaded within 24 hours of your event coverage. Uploading files later than 24 hours after your event coverage may reduce your total pay. Failure to deliver Full HD 1920x1080 or greater 16x9 Aspect Ratio files may reduce your total pay. Video will be processed by us, no editing required.
